For younger learners (from toddlers to youth), Seasons of the Spirit is an educational curriculum that is ecumenical, international, grounded in tradition, engaged in the present, and hopeful about the future. It recognizes that each learner passes through various seasons of learning -- not only within the context of the Christian journey from Advent through Pentecost, but within their own personal faith journey.  Seasons attempts to be contemporary as it engages learners with the arts, music, technology, and science, yet it also holds out the truths of the ancient Christian faith tradition.

Our teachers utilize Seasons of the Spirit along with teachers and learners from faith practices and cultures around the world. In her book Fashion Me a People, Maria Harris outlines five essential ministries that shape the Christian church. They are 1) the ministry of community; 2) the ministry of prayer and worship; 3) the ministry of proclamation; 4) the ministry of teaching; and 5) the ministry of compassionate service. It is our goal and our hope that these ministries will be encouraged and engaged in our young people through the use of Seasons of the Spirit
